    just reading this, but, if that is still a key to a clock, i.e. the calendar machine, and it is now a weapon, does that mean it is meant to be inserted, stabbed, into someone? the way this has been going, it isnt unlikely…

      I think the whole key/clock connection was just supposed to set M’s thought pattern in motion.
      I have read the archives at least a few times and so I will only say my impressions when I first read this the first time

      Given the story I’d say stabbing someone tends to have been a quite popular activity. Some times they even killed them quickly but at least three of the cast was tortured to death slowly. Knives can do that to, it just takes more skill. Gruesome and horrible skill that is.
