We’ll see… but I hope so. While the high school slice of life content can be enjoyable, the comic has always hit the highest notes when there are THINGS afoot.
Scarlett asked a question that stuck her head out & transformed her into a nail…
“The nail that sticks out the farthest is the first one to get hammered.”
I think it was Christopher Anvil who wrote some stories about a secret agency – i don’t THINK it was his “Interstellar Patrol”, which had its own quirks. It was SUPER “black< and if you figured out that it even existed you had a choice – join as an agent or disappear.
Actually, two years later, doing an archive binge, i realise that it was Mack Reynolds – the “Ronnie Bronson” stories about “Section G” were used to make a’fixup’ “novel” called “Section G: United Planets”
BUD!! I very much would enjoy watching Scarlett and crew transitioning to “the real world” and getting jobs and whatnot…especially if it means seeing Bud more!
Did this turn into a very early job interview?
I think so.
I’m not surprised.
Yeah, definitely earlier than Scarlett expected.
Whoa! Are we actually working up to a story here?
We’ll see… but I hope so. While the high school slice of life content can be enjoyable, the comic has always hit the highest notes when there are THINGS afoot.
Oh God, I love Bud.
Oh gosh,,,,,, I can’t stop laughing!!!
Why do i have the feeling Buds’ ‘version’ of MIB doesn’t quit fit into the MIB any government would admit exists?
Many’s the time some guy came home and said, “I’m going on this super-secret top-secret dangerous mission. Let me tell you about it.”
I’ve been watching old-ish Panel Interview videos, esp related to Marvel & Star Wars. Keeeeeping Seeeecrets….
Bud made her an offer she literally can’t refuse.
Scarlett asked a question that stuck her head out & transformed her into a nail…

If your only tool is a hammer, all your problems begin to look like nails… 😉
Well, then. Then I’d say, “It’s Hammertime!!”

Wait, how was Bud involved in that Mansion Adventure? o_O
I’d tell you, but then I’d have to kill you.
Wasn’t she one of the chaperones?
Valery and Digit were the chaperons.
A corridor makes for an interesting meeting place.
It’s not exactly one ofthe “corridors of power” that CP Snow wrote of, but it’s definitely a corridor with power within in.

Bud has found her calling…
