Any technology that’s distinguishable from magic is insufficently advanced.

Another view, by Florence from the excellent Freefall.

Maybe Luiz is trying to say that it is gross but must be discussed?
Or it is an Eminem reference…

Love the speech bubble in panel 1! Very neat!

Why is it that any comic with “technology” and “magic” mentioned in the same strip spawns a string of “any sufficiently advanced…etc.” comments?

One must wonder if there is any sufficiently advanced way to explain that. Or not wonder. And hey, let the people feel like they’re being witty and intelligent. Some of us… err… them don’t get to feel that very often. *pouts… but in a totally sympathetic way*

I love the speech bubble too. I think Monica may have been in the madness place for a minute there.

Magic is extinguishable by sufficient technology when it is fire and said technology is a fire extinguisher. Or water. Water also works. Or just blow on it if it’s small enough and you don’t have any technology. — Badgerguy

You can quote me on that. — Also Badgerguy

If I had sufficient wit of my own, I would then no longer have to resort to quoting others who are wittier than myself in order to impress you.
    — Still Badgerguy
