so, that innocuous mention is a spoiler that draws massive ire, but all the other, more revealing comments out there arent? anyways, where else can those of us who have already read thru the entire story comment about individual pages? imo, if this is your first time thru, just read the comic, and dont even scroll thru the comments.
She went in through the softer membranes, and the thinnest bone at the roof of the mouth.
Not technically impossible, but GAWD DAMN!!! O_O
…Also perhaps relevant. If I’m understanding the sequence right, this is after being thrown in the hole, after dying, and coming back empowered by the ritual… but before all three became the Chimera and destroyed most of the world?
…So it’s reasonable to assume she’s much stronger than a human in this scene.
Third read-through, but first time noticing it… The two girls are still human, but Jin’s eyes are already screwy (Well, that, and she just ripped a guys face off from the inside through his chin, so…) That, with the fact that she’s the only one of the trio to be revered as an Aztec god, is probably one of the first mentions that she isn’t of quite the same ilk as the other two…
WOW! That’s a new spin on Jin. To know some one was a monster and to see it are two different things. Very nicely done here.
It’s also telling that five years later we see the scene again – with Bud watching in horror and Brandi averting her eyes. Continuity win for Pablo.
dude, NOT COOL!! keep your spoilers to yourself. this goes out to any commenter: QUIET THE BLOODY SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree the fact that it is hidden behind a link is enough of a warning.
The journey matters more than the ending. If it didn’t, then people would hate you for saying that in the real world, everyone dies.
I love this scene
She reached his eyes through his chin?!?
He said his nose was stuffy. He needed something to clear out his sinuses. She was trying to help.

(Mild spoiler, I guess…)

She’s also got the fangs, although those could be anger fangs.
Popping a man’s eyes out from the inside?! Cripes, Jin! I….I may be in love! O_O
…and that would be more or less my reaction to witnessing a rape as well…
wondering if that is the boyfriend that betrayed her.
Lookit that eyeball fly!
