Looks like the “discovered fruit-filled yogurt” smile!

She’s got that “Smile for the camera because a family member you secretly can’t stand wants to take your picture” look down pat.

Digit just needs to relate her smiles to happy things.

FANGS for the compliment; or, GRIN and tonic; or, going a SMILE in someone else’s shoes, or…

At least Digit’s toothy grin looks …kinda like a smile.
I literally can not show my teeth when I smile.
Whenever I try to smile with teeth showing, it ends up looking more like a grimmace or a snarl.

What comes across is not “I’m happy“, but rather, “I’m hungry”.

or “I will now take great pleasure in ripping out your entrails and making chitlins.” Supper, and long-sought-after revenge, all at the same time… it’s kinda that sort of smile.

I don’t know, she looks genuinely happy to me there.

If Monica wants to be a good mother she should offer more useful advice than ‘keep trying’. Like ‘save that for absolute delight and close the mouth (with corners raised) for general happiness’.

Though of course Digit might be trying for that and not yet succeeding.

I like her “dead-pan”. Maybe I even like her BETTER “dead-pan”! It makes her emotional reveals all the more “impactful”. IMO.

That smile is for when you know you want to devour something completely and you know that it will only take you about 4 seconds to do it.
Either that or someone said, “Let’s go to the Harry Potter Villages at Universal in Florida.” And you’ve been wanting to go since before you were born.
