Just thought of something a bit depressing: does Stela already suspect Lily of being involved somehow? Is that why she is bringing her to see Phix? Or, is it simply Stela isn’t allowed to go visit Tanta Phix in The Library without an adult?
Thing is our little stink weed is a very dangerous little plant, and now she’s about to find out not only that Atsali’s parents were killed trying to protect her, but that all those directly responsible had their heads detached and delivered to the senate floor that same day. So whatever reaction she’s gonna have will have to be handled by those close at hand, and being a vampire isn’t going to be much protection.
Inside the library Phix is probably safe, but other than that it’s time to call in the heavies.
I sure hope Phix finds the info before the stink weed does, and cuts her off before any real damage can be done.
Anyone else think Lilly already knows, and is trying to dodge the answer.
Lily definitely knows – and Castela isn’t going to like the answer.
