Naw, it make them my Uncle Bruce, who will eat the most lifelike licorice rats I’ve ever seen…Still grosses me out (with a smile now, though) 20 years after I first saw him doing it.
Speaking as a professional rabbit, I really wish people would cut it out with all this “pulling out of a hat” business – it’s awfully disruptive of one’s day.
My missus spect a lot of time arund various entertainment industry folks in the 1970’s and 80’s. She was horrified at the treatment of the rabbits, doves etc, how they were tied up, squeezed, twisted and then hidden in pockets within sleeves and pant legs. The rabbit didn’t run away when pulled from the hat because it was drugged out of its tiny brains.
