I’m in the process of writing a story that, as it’s evolved, turns out to be all about how the perspective of time travel effects your values and choices (and how punishing it is on the traveller).
The most confusing such story (at least to the protagonist) must be “All you zombies” by Heinlein. But he didn’t go very far into the “values” department there, so plenty of room for that. 🙂
