One woman or two? The one in the first frame appears to be wearing a skirt and a coat; the one in the last is pants and a cape. Is that Lily’s partner?
It’s actually difficult to tell if it’s McBride placing the flowers in the first four panels and then stepping back and saying a silent pray in the last panel, or someone else in the first four panels with McBride coming along later and seeing the roses
I think she’s replacing the flowers in the graves of the victims for whom she took vampiric revenge, and then walking towards the fourth wall as an exit in the last panel.
Its a continuity thing I believe. The friends live on in memories as long as they are remembered.
The long-lived remembering friends gone by. Becomes a big deal to close teams – especially when there is a mass casualty in the group. Fire, Police, Military.
It looks like Suzie (possibly with the participation her partner) established this… cemetary(?) herself/themselves with the purpose of keeping others from becoming like her/them.

Suzi, is it?
McBride in the last panel for sure
Two women: one is placing the flowers while McBride is watching in the last panel
Oh, well, it’s clearly labelled: Characters: Suzi.
It’s all Suzie McBride. She’s likely wearing jeans and very tall boots.
She really likes that long black coat.
You really think Paul would post a spoiler? o_O
It’s windy.
Promises being kept. ~<3
Much mystery, such suspense, wow.
Wow..so moved by her dedication.
This would have been a great strip for January 19th. It reminds me of the Poe toaster.
I’m thinking she’s remembering this and the ones immediately after: http://wapsisquare.com/comic/not-like-i-was/
Yes. This whole subject is very germane to the current social change surrounding rape culture and I’m glad Paul is a part of it.

Hopefully there will be a followup to explain
Since only Suzi is mentioned in the character list for the page…
If the other person was someone new, would Paul list them before being formerly and properly introduced? o_O

And/or flowers those people she killed to keep them from turning into new Vampires.
That’s her hobby, we recall. It’s good to have a hobby…
There’s a flower in front of her. I think she’s taking a quiet moment….
Suzie, Remembering as McBride fills the vases ?
All one person. Suzi McBride.

No, she is remembering people she never knew – because that’s how you save people who die alone and unknown from becoming vampires.
despite being a vampire, I KNEW Suzi had a secret heart of gold
