Crap! I hit the return button just as I saw my goof! It should have been ATSALI, instead of Arsali…
My wife’s fingernails have scraped most of the letters off the keyboard.
There’s Castela talking above her age grade again, not to mention perceiving the possible ‘social commentary’. And her stammer goes away, too. I wonder if it’s somewhat put on? It certainly got worse when she was trying to get Atsali to do more stuff for her.
She has a bed too, bought first. She can sleep in either as suits her mood.
Being curled up in the bottom of a pot is not really conductive to having stories read to one, however.
Sisters… :v
I feel the love.
Specifically of the “tough” variety
Atsali, come on. Take care of your little sister better than that.
She’s teaching her self-sufficiency. What better way to take care of someone else is there?
That’s adorable, HAHHAH.
Also, that weed is a smarty SMARTypants weed…no?
I think she felt like Castela was taking advantage of her, and considering Castela is’t stupid, it might well be.
Yup, may have taken a few goes but Sali has finally twigged when the stinkweed is attempting to take advantage 😀
Oh, come on, at sail, you don’t throw the book at her, you just leave it on the shelf and make her get it. What sorta elder sibling are you?
Castella’s not covered with her foliage scales, and Arsali’s ‘NOT-THE-MAMA!’

Hey, at least it’s a good book. A personal favorite, of mine, actually.
Anyone else hearing Baby from “Dinosaurs” saying “Not the mama!”?

And here I thought I was the only one that remembered that show.
I really hate that shows that came out waaaaaay past my time are considered “classic”. That show was my youngest cousin’s favorite.
At least Atsali didn’t do the Robot Chicken version, and have the world be destroyed by the mouse’s vampire army.

What you receive is what you bet; so what she sees is what she gets…
I love that Pickle is intelligent enough in first grade to draw that parallel. She’s one of my top three favorite WS characters
