Mom space is hard to get out of. Cheers to Brynn for the brick-upside-the-head approach. Nothing else really works.

And once again, I am forced to repeat my regret that this comment board has no system to upvote or like a comment.

But my favorite comment so far has to be Bryn’s “in an illegally short dress.”

The shop is closed for *public* business right now, but there’s still one “customer” who still needs “service.”

Wow, this looks very crisp. This is with the new hardware, right?

      Yep, a Wacom Cintiq.

Interesting! Virtually no difference [Pun NOT-intended.] Paul is playing with an out-of-focus effect, also interesting, adds some dimensionality, but oddly annoying.

Hmm. Out-of-focus Kat kinda looks like a paper cutout… Maybe it’s just me…

    Aside from that, looks good!

Bryn thinks highly of herself, doesn’t she? Then again, why shouldn’t she?

Yep, That Dress brings to mind the phrase: “There Aught’a be a Law!”

Yes! Wapsi is back! Nice job using the tablet by the way. Can hardly tell you changed mediums.

Wow, the difference that Wacom pad makes is subtle but significant. Everything looks so crisp now.

It looks to me like they’re both in illegally short dresses (skirts).

(And your first official effort with digital drawing went quite well.)

Beyond the learning curve — did drawing it this way take more or less time than the old analog way? And do you think it’ll get better/faster?

Oh, there’s little to no doubt of that – just look at all the other webcomickers who made the switch, most notably ones like Doc Nickel, Howard Tayler, and Aaron Diaz.

Delightful on two levels, story and fully-digital artwork. 💖

It looks great, Paul. A bit different, but a smaller difference than some of your previous stylistic changes and experiments.

Looking past Bryn’s banter, I’m seeing Kath pondering an unsettling thought. This is the third time that one of her daughters has been in a dangerous situation that involved the Library’s interests (and, in the first two such, the Library’s rather callous manipulation of people and events). Did the Library set this one up, too, in order to repair the World Grid?

I don’t expect that Momma Bear likes that idea.

Yeah, that’s right Kathy; get a clue… (hint hint)

I like to think I’m pretty smart, but I can’t figure out what “crisp” means in this context. Help me out.

Probably “sharp, high contrast”… I’ve always heard it as a photographer’s term. The opposite might be described as “soft”.
