I think Daylia just realized that when you’re solid, the set of “Things That Can Kill You” has a LOT more stuff in it. Which is a thing you can’t help but think about when, five minutes ago, you were just talking about another You that died.

    ————————-

“That thing up there won’t miss the chance to kill me twice. The paradox would rip the Universe apart, and you know how much hard work it is, putting it back together again.”
–The Doctor, “Twice Upon A Time”

After multiple rounds of “I’m REAL! Your the ghost!” She noticing that she’s Solid “again.” At what point, during her repeated threats of a “knuckle sandwich” AND a “fat lip,” did she realize/acknowledge that she WASN’T solid?

She knew she wasn’t solid then, butt wasn’t going to let a tiny matter of being incorporeal stop her from threatening an idiot 😛

Daylla is smarter than I am. It wouldn’t have occurred to me not to open the door.
Of course, Daylla is tight with the author.

    That’s a solid observation.

Daylla’s concern may be less about getting killed, and more about getting trapped in the wrong parallel universe/alternate timeline.

Why the door opening would affect that, I’m not sure.

      Because either:

      1. Dustin’s theory is that whatever’s in there caused whatever happened to his Daylla. (She COULD be alive still…………….no body was found, and being zapped into a different location or reality is not at all unheard of in the Wapsiverse)

      2. Being the smart hunk of living metal she is, she’s figured out a completely different potential threat.

      3. Since earlier she was trying to avoid committing stereotypical horror movie blunders, she’s thinking “Maybe we don’t walk blindly into the creepy room.”

      4. Some combination of all those.

Sound like a solid set of theories >_>

That’s a quite interesting description of the Library’s personality… And probably more fitting than anyone would like to admit.
