Eh, it was explained earlier in the comic that certain plants were sacred because they protected portals or gateways to other worlds/realms/etc. I suspect it’s highly related to that.

Speaking of getting back to things, I’m still wondering about Tina’s remark, “I’m one of five winged beings prophesied to….” What was that about? Think it will ever come around? So far we only have four winged beings: Tina, Phix, Shelly, and Atsali. Of course, I know Paul can drop a clue and come back years later to pick it up. I’m hoping the day will come.

Well, it’s rather mild compared to what the golem girls can do but still kinda scary.
