– it might depend on whether they needed a half with the finger-holes, or some half without them. In this case it would matter where the dent was.
I’m sure we are both overthinking this.
Really the simple answer is that Brandi wasn’t told that Shelly has a bowling ball, and even if she had, Shelly might not want the bowling ball given to her be her father to be cut in half.
United States Bowling Congress (USBC) specifies that bowling balls may only “have a circumference between 26.704 inches (67.83 cm) and 27.002 inches (68.59 cm), and a diameter in the range of 8.500 inches (21.59 cm) to 8.595 inches (21.83 cm).”
So, while there is variation, it isn’t huge. Also depending on manufacturer, the same weight could be a slightly different size and a smaller weight doesn’t have to be a smaller size. If past Brandis had wanted a more accurate size for this, they would have had to be more specific with measurements and possible ball product lines to try.
The residents might be a tad freaked out. Yikey earthquake, no wait this Minnesota and sounds like a berserk belt sander, stick head out the window and see a woman walking away with half a bowling ball under her arm (go back to bed and pulls the sheet over head).
Thats what I’ve done as a kid when working on anything that needed sanding, slight smoothing, etc. Works great with wood heh
My only question is why didn’t she just use Monica’s old bowling ball?
You mean Shelly’s? That’s ’cause Shel dented it with her head, remember?
Could she not use the half that wasn’t dented?

…..hahahaha! Brandi is the cat – she’s all but sharpening her claws!
so, now i’m thinking, what size ball is needed, ’cause bowling balls of different weight also different sizes

… I think I see where this is going to go.

Just reading this made me wince from the imagined sound that made…
It doesn’t exactly ^look^ like a hemisphere!
