BTW, what did “I Won’t Let Them” end up going for on the ebay auction? I wasn’t bidding myself since it looked like it was going to go right through the roof, so I couldn’t see the final sales prices once the bidding ended.
Hm. Maybe Bud is trying to get Monica so angry, confused and frustrated that her demons actually manifest – only to be sucked into the Calendar Machine to sabotage it from the inside?
…or maybe just get so pissed at the whole scene that she just takes a couple chunks outta the thing with that Big Honkin’ Pistol (TM), making it grind to a halt instead of re-setting.
I’m torn between wanting to see how this goes (and getting a bad feeling but feeling like you wouldn’t have it end in total disaster) and being excited about having it resolved so we can get back to the other plot lines that have had to be pushed aside while this takes prominence. We haven’t seen Katherine in a while and Owen, Lakshmi, Amanda, Jacqui, or Luci in ages.
Also, is there a way to make the tiny “Previous” and “Next” button above the comics more visible (maybe have that text in a mouse over), so folks know that if they miss a few days they don’t have to scroll down past the missed comics in order to get back to where we left off? I just discovered them today and wish I’d noticed them earlier.
You what would be awesomely handy? If you could create a login, and a single button would take you back to the last page you had read. It wouldn’t need a password or anything, just your nic or email address, or even just a cookie.
Well, now; that’s just down-right useful, that is. That is, once I permitted Javascript to run on this page. Until then, the option didn’t even show up. Thanks! I wonder how many other webcomics I follow have the same (unseen by me) option.
I don’t like where this is going….
can’t wait to see where that is though 🙂
“What’s the worst that could happen?”
Uh oh.
The only thing i can think of that would be worse to say would be “It’s okay – nothing could possibly go wrong.”
Jin, you NEVER ask that question!!
BTW – i like the lens flares from Jin’s eyes…
A central tenet of life: If you don’t want to know the answer, don’t ask the question.
Something tells me Jin really wants to know the answer.
We’re sorry, the mind you are trying to reach is not available at this time. Please hang up and call again later…
If Jin’s hair is any indication, I guess we’re looking at a previous failed attempt right now.
Plot Thickening in 5… 4… 3…

$79
What keeps worrying me is the link to that comic from 2001.
And who’s the “she” that Bud is referring to?
“And who’s the “she” that Bud is referring to?”
I am so tempted to make a ‘your mom’ joke here.

Just a thought.
Ah, yes.
The Indiana Jones Technique™.
Works for me…!
But would it work for Monica?

Thanks.
There are arrows in the upper right hand corner next to the RSS Feed button.
Oh, sorry, misread your comment.

That’s what the “tag page” does at the bottom of the comic.
You mean “Tag Page” tags the page? Dude, that’s . . . that’s just CRAZY enough to work!

Whom is Jin referring to in her little “footnote”:Are you in there?
The grandpa? >.>
I assumed it was Jin’s mom since Jin thinks Monica is her vessel?
Wow, I hadn’t thought of that till you said it. That makes lots of sense. the other option(s ) being her demon representations of her “Motivation”.
I love your line work!
Oh dear. They really are skating the razor’s edge aren’t they? But does anyone there realize it?
I think that somebody is skating the razor’s edge of falling out of her top if she bends over at all!
That’s a tempting-fate kind of question, right there. and if you didn’t know, Fate is already tempted enough.
Quick, Monica and Jin switch clothing!
(I want to see Monica in that dress!)
“What’s the worst that could happen?”
Nope, that machine is definitely not “Mostly harmless.”
