I’ve read through the entire story multiple times (because I’m a fan), and this is what appeared in Monica’s basement/wine cellar due to the command she unintentionally gave the Golem Girls a few pages ago. It’s here to temporarily jog the Golem Girls’ memories.
Monica does have hobbies. Besides being an audiophile, Monica is apparently also a wine connoisseuse. It’s implied later that Monica has some money, as the result of a legal settlement. She’s half-owner of an antique shop at this point.
First time I read this, it was a pure “WTF?!?!” moment…
