Awww thats funny, but apparently cats don’t mark their territory like that. Whenever a cat rubs up on something with its cheeks thats when territory is being marked.
So when a cat is showing you some love, its more like “you mine you human fleshbag”
They also mark with urine. Not forward though. They lift their tail while standing flat and spray basically straight back.
