No… I think that Jin’s doubt is going to try to get in the way by taking over Monica to stop the fixing of the machine to keep Monica as an open doorway for herself so she can do the same thing that Tina’s demons did to themselfs. The “key” is to seperate Monica and Jin’s doubt, and the portal cloth is to trap her in Shelly’s boiler room with the creepy kid.
Thats just my take on what is happening.
This is a good comic. I just got into it last weekend, took me all weekend to read. I’m glad Paul updates everyday, I’m into a few other web comics, but they update at most every 10 days.
Of course Monica will “follow the script”, up to the stabbing portion of said script, and then all bets are off. I am still not crazy about this plan; my gut tells me there is going to be a huge falling out between Monica and Shelly when all is said and done.
I think any other person who would grab Shelley’s hand like that would very soon find their arm through the table, broken…….. If Shelley even tries to budge Bud’s arm, she will probably strain something……
But which play should they be performing. Jen has a book and Phix gave Brandi a book she had written in another loop and this has been done how many times? 56? SHEESH!!!
Bud looks really scary on the last panel, and i do think they just need some of Monica’s blood to do it, not slit her throat or something, couse u know, blood is life. and who knows what happens, at least its gonna be one hell of a ride!!

I love this comic. Unfortunately as with everything I really enjoy, I get nervous about how things will turn out.

Bud just meant the demons using Monica, not M’s personal demons. =)
The “her” meaning “Jin” – who Bud may have thought was listening in on their conversation (and rightly so, as we saw in the past).
Yeah, makes sense now.
