It’s so good to see Bud actually having fun. And don’t tell me that this wasn’t part of her plan from the get-go.
For so long, Bud was the most damaged of the Golem Girls, but i think she’s also the one who’s going to come closest of the three to regaining her humanity – as much as she can, unless the Blue Fairy grants wishes in Wapsi Square as well as Disneyland…
Does anyone, right off hand, have the URL for the strip when Bud (rather more naive) went swimming in the middle of winter in a two-piece suit, and newspeople showed up?

Well, Bud is not lying about the cat part; Brandi did witness Bud tossing what was left of the calendar machine at hypersonic velocity.
Actually Bud is being quite clever, believe it or not. With Bud acting all crazy and shit, the cops are just going to lose interest in the ramblings of a crazy person, turn around and leave without talking to anybody else. I am starting to wonder if it is Bud, and neither Brandi or Jin, who is the real brains of this bunch.
Dammit, I wasted my ‘this is why I luv Bud so much’ comment just a couple strips ago! Now how am I to properly express my adoration to her awesomeness here? Huh? HUH?!
WHY would it be so hard to explain the flash-boom as a bolide exploding in the lower atmosphere? Similar events are caught on security cams and home videos frequently. Granted, thise were INCOMING, not OUTGOING…..
By the way, the average speed of incoming metors when they hit the outer atmosphere is thirty-seven miles a second.
(Yes, my poor head is full of stuff like that)
Why should she attempt to explain what happened? Such might lead to pointed questions she does not want to answer. How much simpler to just say, “Yes, I heard the noise too. A big bang – do you have any idea what it was?”
With the possible exception of the secretary at the health spa, there’s not a young lady in the bunch – dead, alive or otherwise – that I wouldn’t love to hook up with. These characters are the distillation of win.

I dropped in just after this posted, and after I stopped laughing, realized I could not say anything that would do it justice, so I closed the browser and went off to work.
I found myself breaking into a spontaneous grin every time the strip came to mind.

I especially like the pronounced canines that the Chimera girls have. This must be somewhat alarming to those who meet them. Especially when they greet you in a trapper cap.
Reversal? That’s how I view most UFO witnesses/abductees. At this point most cops would have had their guns drawn as well. Or, at least their hands on the grip with their fingers under the snap.
Bud could strip naked again, bending over and describing an alien anal probe, complete with visual aids. Just a suggestion. Naked, except for the hat, of course.
