You would think Shelly could “dream” up better accomodations for Ms. Creepy. Would it kill her to add a TV and ping pong table? Maybe a video game?

IIRC, Paul said it was the creepy little girl’s domain. It may be the way she likes it. She is creepy, after all.

I thought that she didn’t have a choice. The little girl who looks like her is of course stuck down in the basement (With a pair of scissors..?) drowning in sorrow over her mother’s death.
Where else would she be? Tahiti?

Ooh, all the brave things I recalled Shelly doing, her mom didn’t come to mind.

Down in the boiler room – little Conscience looks more real than Shelly does.

That’s because she is more real than Shelly in the boiler room – the boiler room s inside Shelly’s head and she’s just visiting.

Must be where Creepy Girl’s conscience dwells. The sub-subconscious Either that or a wine cellar.

Sub-sub-conscious? But Creepy Girl’s level wouldn’t be sub-conscious to begin with. Your conscience isn’t that tucked away…well…at least it shouldn’t be.

Besides, Shelly’s far too aware of her (conscious therefore not sub). :) Next level down is sporting goods anyhow…I checked. :P

This one is great! But don’t overlook the text for the art. Little Miss Spooky speaks volumes here. Saving Jin is saving herself. No Earth, no Shelly. What Shelly is risking is nothing compared to the End of the World!

Exactly! Lil creepy is proving she’s an awesome conscience. Talking her in to doing what they believe is the right thing, even when she doesn’t really want to do it. I must say, Shelly’s conscience not only never fails to satisfy, but tends to impress me a little more each time we see her.

That could be, however, I saw it as more of a foreboding of something Shelly needs directly. That helping in this, and perhaps other ways, will “save” herself as much as Jin. Offhand I don’t know in what way she will be saving herself, perhaps in finally ridding herself of the guilt and loss of the past. Save herself from a path of self-destruction she may be unknowingly on now.

I think these visits to the boiler room will do wonders for Shelly’s confidence…maybe she’ll stop stressing about her relationship with Justin when this is all through (that’ll take a few more visits to teh boiler room AND the wine cellar)
