      As is our artiste. ;)

    1. Hmmm! Having a nice brain stretch trying to follow the topical logic here on the books relationship. Good exercise.

    2. This the Annex finally or still M’s office? Amanda’s chair has changed since the office visit panel last time, and this is a much nicer chair! But it could be a warehouse interior.

    3. Inviso boobs indeed! Great surprise face though!

Hm. Rearranged the furniture over the weekend, I see. :)

If you lean forward and put your arms in front of your bosom (no mean trick for Monica) you get the effect shown.

She could be leaning on the table, too!
By the way, as a graduate student, I have to say that that’s pretty much what research looks like sometimes.

She’s in a plank position leaning forward on the table. Her boobs are behind her arms. I deleted several posts of folks not calm enough to figure this out.

After all this time, Paul, don’t you understand we don’t care about the story, character development, etc? We wanna see boobs, man!!!

          Just kidding.

But … but… boobs are character development, TlalocW! And what she does with them makes the story!

Geeze, what a crappy office! Would it break the budget to put up a couple of cosmetic walls to hide the electrics? Not to mention some insulation over that brick wall. It would conduct lots of heat (in the wrong direction) both summer and winter.

Actually, one of the best workspaces I ever had was an old brick-and-concrete power substation building. With the right decorating, you get a wonderful steampunk atmosphere, and those old buildings had big windows — that opened! Who needs A/C? Well, up north here in Oregon, anyway ;-)

Amanda’s over-the-shoulder is indeed superb drawing!

    Celtic cross
    Jinn
and Demons What do these have in common? Is this another stalling tactic. Did Amanda really come up with something? And is M ever going to Amanda Phix’s Library? or anything else supernatural?

“Geee M you are acting like you are trying to hide your superhero identity?”

OR… it could be that the comments about gratuitous fanfare has made him want to prove a point and show that he doesn’t need to do big boobs to tell a story.

Your actions become your habits, your habits become your character, your character becomes your life and your life is then your destiny…Who knew Amanda was a friggin’ genius?

@Paul: Shouldn’t Amanda’s knees and lower legs be visible in the second panel? To me, it looks like she is wearing a long skirt, which would violate continuity.
