I enjoy making my own, there is also a great place near me that makes fantastic ramen (3 years later, but this is new news so it’s ok, hope you archive dive like I just did) ~<3
dude… ANYBODY built like Atsali is going to be very popular (and Last I talked to penny what you heard were probably the MILD stories Penny ISNT just a cosplayer she does that for fun and as part of her modeling job) I’m of a mind of Some of the stories P-chan (Fuko), Rio Natsuke and, Tanaka Hitome have told. (Fuko has the WORST stories but then she worked in a Soapland for 2 years)
Atsali is at Dragon Wall on an athletic scholarship — flying! If she is as good as she seems to be, she should be very popular! It’s a pity that the term ‘para-Olympics’ was already been co-opted by another activity! Based on what I’ve seen here in Louisville, if Atsali performs at a PNAACP level, in a popular sport, she could be a huge celebrity!
Know what I’m happiest about with the new character Skylar?
She’s not yet another “whitehead”; I stand a much better chance of being able to recognize her the next time I see her.
In a comic where characters change their hairstyle and even their human/non-human facial features moment to moment, sometimes even in the same page, being able to tell them apart, or recognize someone you may not have seen in months of posts is a real challenge for the readership. The character tags aren’t just a good idea; they’re a damned necessity some days. If I get some extra money, I think I’d rather support Paul on Patreon than buy his books, because without the tags, I’d often be confused about who I’m even looking at.
There are reasons characters in anime often have vibrant, unrealistic hair colours; it’s so they can be identified at a glance when their faces are all virtually identical. The Japanese have a lot of experience in illustration and animation.
Would it honestly be that much more work to put a flat colour fill onto a few heads (and keep the colour consistent)? I could do it myself in about a minute or two. Per page.
going to Japan is the best time to have ramen, since it’s the real kind. ~<3
Yes.. I have been marked for life by it.. I will probably never have the like again.. :*(
I make my own. Damn, I need some lye to make fresh noodles. At least I have bone broth in the freezer.

First panel, ‘where’ not ‘were’.
So the college is in Tokyo?
Not a bad idea for a para college. Especially if someone goes hybrid form while out drinking.
Translates as ‘Dragon Wall’…
What does? Tachigui? If so, no. Tachigui (立ち食い) basically refers to street food, eating at a street stall.
Sorry, didn’t see the location tag before I replied! ごめん な さい (Gomen na sai!)
I have a feeling that there is a large para friendly community in Japan.
That might explain a few things 😉
Let me guess.
They all hang out in the Akibahara area?
Sorry, that’s Akihabara. 🙁
More likely Otome Road in Ikebukuro
Well Damn, She (Skylar) just did the ‘No Affect Info Core-Dump’ thing…
Ramen is life.
wow is Atsali going to be popular in Tokyo…
Yeah, if what I’ve read from a cosplayer named Penny Brown is right you’ll get some rather embarrassing requests for selfies!

And I mean popular as in not always a GOOD way.
BEST ROOMMATE EVER!!!

Looks to me like Skylar may be faking her facial expressions.
It looked like she turned off her expressions.
Hey! Not cool!
Mumble in front of the hearing impaired why don’t you!?
