I recently read an interesting article about how horror books and movies always seem to have one girl (it is usually a girl) who KNOWS that something is wrong, but when she tries to warn the others, they either blow her off as being a ‘fraidy-cat, or something similar. Interesting that that trope is popping up here too. 🙂
If it’s not a girl, it’s usually an older man who is dismissed as a “crazy old man”. Frequently that character knows exactly how to deal with the monster/spook/ghost/etc., too.
And, who knows what that part of the school is built over. Ancient graveyard? Native American bison ambush/slaughter site, with the ghost of an orphaned calf forever hunting for its murdered parents? The ruins of an early American IRS tax-audit center? (plenty of “stone tape” trauma there!)
So many excellent tropes for our young club members to encounter!
Trying to contact ”some poor trapped soul” using Christmas lights sounds like a Stranger Things reference!
They may be able to get away with using a Ouiga board since they’re all Paras anyway. 🤔
The room where Hiroshi got changed into a butterfly?
Scarlet sweetie, that’s not a good idea. ~<3
Castela really likes pushing people’s button…
She’s poking fun at someone for having the same heebeejeebees she had when alone recently.

This trope is older than feudalism.

Or is drunk beyond all reason, IE Shadow over Innsmouth.
It’s nothing. Just a weird vibration in the air conditioning ducts.
What do you mean, “there aren’t air conditioning ducts in this room.”?
Hah! Infrasound as the explanation.
Good catch
CAN Castela be knocked out? Given the tumbles she’s had when younger…
It would be interesting to see someone try. Then of course she’d get her shot.
Did someone say “Freaking Out”?

I’m getting flashbacks to the anime, “Dusk Maiden of Amnesia.”
::sits comfortably, and gestures:: Please, continue.
Oh man, I loved that series.
Doomed to stay forever within the walls of Gryphon High? Must be a teacher.
or a janitor, custodian, security guard, …

Post office . . .
Looks like paul saw Re-Write.
I’d tend to listen to a fox if addressed.
It’s said they have a special kind of crazy.
To me, it feels like Castela is wandering into ‘What’s the worst that can happen!’ Territory, and Scarlett is reacting sensibly!
