Cinco de Drinco is a Pueblan holiday that is pretty-much an excuse for white Americans to drink a lot and talk trash about the French (who do deserve it).
That’s okay, St Patrick’s day is not celebrated the same way in Ireland as it is here in the USA. To be blunt, Catholics aren’t supposed to party on March 17th as it falls during Lent. Properly the day is when a Mass is dedicated to St Patrick (just Valentines day is the Mass for St Valentine and Christmas is the Mass for Christ.)
