No, the shark jumped the comic.
Jumping the shark is a bad thing; it means the author has run out of ideas and is trying desperately to keep the fans from leaving by pulling a ridiculous stunt. In Wapsi Square, this is just Thursday.

Some webcomics go only so far, then jump the shark. Wapsi Square launches the shark into Lower Earth Orbit!
