    im at the age when i can appreciate a well flushing toilet.
    it seems like most toilets i go to you have to pull the chain twice as the water pressure doesnt seem to be there.

      Low-flush toilets. They installed them everywhere as a “Green” campaign to conserve water. The downside being, of course, that if you ever have to flush anything that a small trickle of water isn’t forceful enough to move…

        OTOH, as has been pointed out in various places, albeit not here, most times a toilet is used, it’s liquid, and so a single flush suffices. And when not, up to three or four flushes or less, and you are still ahead of the alternative (full flow flush).
