      Pickle=loaded gamma-ray bazooka=pain.
This is why only crazy-ass super paras dare prank her. Having said that,
now would be a bad time for someone to be walking out of the basement….

To be fair, Tina is several demons riding a corpse. She’s scarier than any ghost, so I doubt anything haunting the building would fuck with her. Anybody else buying that building would have probably been haunted all to shit and back.

Which might explain how Tina picked up the the store in the first place.
It had a very low purchase price or rent. 😉

How on earth does any child with friends like those survive to reach adulthood without major emotional damage?

    • DaCyclops
      August 7, 2017, 8:55 am | # | Reply

      My guesses…. Either:
      1. Major physical damage
      2. Already at major emotional trauma cap.

Children are very forgiving and adaptable when it comes to what we think of as “normal”.
Ask any professional magician and he/she will tell you the hardest audience to fool is a room full of kids.

Was the meaning of that choker that’s always around Tina’s neck ever explored? I can think of a couple of plausible (and gory) explanations…

I think I recall Monica or Shelly or Bud asking her about it, and Tina said that no, it isn’t there to hold her head on, or for any other functional reasons.

We know that she honors the memory of Tina 1.0 (hence the doll in the basement). Possibly the choker was one of the original Tina’s favorites, and wearing it now is a show of respect?

I was thinking maybe it covers up a scar. But I can’t offhand recall anybody asking her.

“To which… attributed to” is one too many “to”s. The reason for the awkward “to which” construction in the first place is the end-of-sentence rule for prepositions, which rule should be taken out back and killed with a dull axe. There’s no reason in English for a preposition to be something you can’t end a sentence with. The rule (which was only ever a suggestion) is from the ink horn days when scholars thought English should imitate Latin. Fuck a bunch of Latin. English depends on word order more than inflection, and “to which” is crummy word order.

Nope, that entire sentence, when taken as a whole, is perfectly fine
It may very well be ‘pretentious’ and better alternatives, but, shockingly, people do speak like Tina did, probably because they didn’t have some fancy formal learninging
