Cold Update
Long story short, the doc figures that last Monday, something viral hit me (cold, covid, something not flu). made my asthma flare up, the coughing packed the gunk in tight, and by the time the virus was beat, the bacteria rose to power in my sinuses. Now on antibiotics, and prednisone. I feel like a shell of myself and concentrating on anything just doesn’t work. Hopefully the meds will have me “normal” soon. Thanks much for your patience. *hugs*

just take time to get some rest and feel better Jeph, hopefully you can kick this soon. please remember to continue your antibiotics even after you feel better, your doctor gave you a specific amount for a reason. ~<3
When I get packed up w/gunk I turn the shower up as hot as I can comfortable handle it, close the bathroom door and let humidity work on my lungs for a while. I’ve found that can loosen up gunk and I eventually can hack at least some of it up.
Rest. Recover. Return when you’re back to 100%.

One of the author’s I read, John Scalzi, commented his latest book was delayed because the mental recovery from covid took so long. So focus on getting well.
I’ve been fighting my own case of bronchitis for over a week now. Caused me to miss out on a Xmas party two days ago that I had been looking forward to for weeks. I got all of the vaccines back in early Autumn, but they don’t include protection from strep. Bummer.
I hear ya man. My kid brought COVID home from school, made everyone sick. I’ve got chronic bronchitis so while everyone else got over it. 2 months later I’m still on inhalers and then prednisone to finally get it sorted out.
Hope you feel better soon, being sick like that really sucks.
New covid spreading around fast. Someone introduced it to my office and I caught it too after avoiding it all this time. Those with complications suffer more though, hope you heal swiftly!
In all honesty, I expected a Christmas break, but a serious-health-issue break matters, too. Get well soon, keep the low-key Patreon art coming if you can, and I’ll get by.
