She’s her mother’s daughter. There’s a little Alpha-Mom projection going on there.
And
I get the impression Castela, regardless of her overall size, is at least as dense ans any6 similar sized block of wood. That took a deal of upper body strength. Not as much as her sister Atsali, but enough to get her attention.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a seismograf in the principals office just to keep track of potential trouble the kids might me up to. The records can also be useful when dealing with parents trying to play down events…
And she knows this, she knows she and Cas vied for his attention and in the end she “won”. It’s probably making her feel even more protective because in the end the Little Weed is still her friend.
Timmy’s a smart boy. If he didn’t actually have feelings for Scarlet, he wouldn’t stay in a relationship with her, boobies or no boobies.
Sure. Scarlet actively pursued him and competed with Pickle for his affections, but a major part of them being together is Timmy’s choice. And I think, much as it might suck emotionally for her, Cas knows this, and realizes her friendship with both of them is more important than a love triangle. Not that it helps Scarlet feel any less guilty.
Shawna, however……..as far as I know Cas doesn’t know her from a pebble on the ground, and doesn’t have to worry about damaging any friendships by competing with her for Hiroshi.
Well, and Cas has a habit of lying to herself about her feelings. and kind of being dangerous in the process. It’s probably part of why Scarlet is so ticked off about it.
@Correllian – you’re right… and, also remember, that Scarlet had eventually decided not to pursue a relationship with Timmy. She “made the grand gesture” and told him he should go ahead and be with Castela…
… only to learn that he didn’t think of Castela in that way, and had had a serious crush on Scarlet for years and hadn’t said anything because he thought she didn’t feel that way about him.
Object lesson for all concerned: sometimes, you just have to stop thinking, bear down, grit your teeth, gather your courage, and talktooneanotherforcryingoutloud!
She’d likely not get chipped but rather wrapped around the shaft and jamb up the works…wewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwa <— (last contribution due to Cat on Keyboard.)
Well, the wall isn’t broken just yet. And even if it were it’d have been a case of Scarlet breaking it imo. I think it will be punched in the ear-future, however.
It’s easier to think clearly when you are an observer, just look at all the comments about movies and youtube clips from all those people who would have done things differently
The predator in Scarlet comes out. Not to mention the alpha.

She had to destroy the village in order to save it.
Those poor school walls!

“LIAR!!!”
I think that’s mostly alpha threat display.
The anger is devout when the fangs come out…
Gee, I hope that the two of them didn’t damage that wall, and trigger Ms. Alger’s “surprise”.
Been wondering about Chekhov’s wall, myself.
Can a person facepalm themselves into another dimension? Can I try?
Not the turn I was expecting.
I agree… i don’t get why she’s so pissed.
I think she’s suspecting some kind of abuse, and that may be an issue for her.
No, not abuse of any kind, repressed feelings
Woa! Her name may be Scarlet [and not Kelly, or Emerald,] but don’t make her angry.
You wouldn’t like her when she’s ANGRY!
Shouldn’t they have had this conversation back when Scarlet was stealing Timothy from Castela?
Yea, technically Scarlet’s as guilty of hurting Castela in this way as anyone else.
Which could be feeding some of her outrage now. It’s ignited her latent guilt.
And she knows this, she knows she and Cas vied for his attention and in the end she “won”. It’s probably making her feel even more protective because in the end the Little Weed is still her friend.

I love Castela’s “number-of-that-truck” expression…
I wonder if it would hurt Castela if you put her through a chipper.
Doubtful. At least two different times she has popped her head off on-screen.
She’d likely not get chipped but rather wrapped around the shaft and jamb up the works…wewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwa <— (last contribution due to Cat on Keyboard.)
Better (and more observant) friend than I thought!
Sometimes you need a friend to beat sense into you. Some of my best friends in school were people I traded punches with.
I’m still curious due to Cass’s slow to react if the spell on the wall is indeed affecting her or trying to.
Well, the wall isn’t broken just yet. And even if it were it’d have been a case of Scarlet breaking it imo. I think it will be punched in the ear-future, however.
Well! Scarlet is in even less of a mood to Take Castela’s Shit than Daylla was.
Nobody I knew thought that clearly when I was in middle school. Maybe it’s a “para” thing…

Scarlet’s a true friend…kind of
