You really think the kind of people who read webcomics have never run across the word “telepath” before?
I’ve always been curious about that word’s orgin. Wouldn’t it translate to “distant suffering”? Why not “tele-psyche” or something?
from the greek, -pathe can be translated as suffering or experience
“Apathy” uses pathe in a similar way – telepath -> distant feeling
Actually there’ve been a few signs before, there was one comic where Jin and Monica conversed entirely by thought.
Just because does is telepathic, does not necessarily mean one should assume they can be summoned long-distance.
