Second panel: she knows this is Atsali and her mother she’s been seeing, and she knows it’s a Library replay of something which happened years before.

*SIGH* its as I said before; ‘SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND, VERILY ALL YOU WISH TO KNOW; FROM THE FOUNTAIN OF THE AGES, OF WHICH KNOWLEDGE DOTH FLOW. IF ONE SEEKS SOMETHING THAT TIME MAY HAVE FORGOT… IT CAN TURN OUT ONE WISHES THEY HAD SOUGHT IT NOT. :’-(

Dang, this is reminding me of the Haunted House event in EQ2, where the two children were locked in their room and then rest of the household killed, fortunately at least A’Sawi wasn’t left to starve to death 🙁

Nice to see another Norrathian here! But yeah…NotD stuff and some of the lore as well (Unrest, anybody?) can be quite disturbing.

Oh no Pickles, you don’t get out of this that easily. This knowledge comes at a heavy cost.

Castellan _did_ say she wanted to know the details. Phix clearly decided she’s mature enough to cope with the answers. Nobody promised it would be comfortable.

Ah, but now what will Castellan do with the information? That’s the big question here.

Maybe next time everyone around you tells you you’re not ready to know something, Castela dear, perhaps you’ll stop and consider that they might have a pretty good reason for saying that. (You’ll probably go ahead anyway, but perhaps with more caution and respect.)

Phix, you marvelous heartless bitch. All will be forgiven if you’re there to help Castela pick up the piece.

I’m kind of impressed with Castela’s control over her form. In younger years she’d be going all monster when she’s this upset.

Which means Paul is probably saving that for something worse.

think we’ve seen that already when she came into the library awhile back to let off some steam; I think you’re only gonna meet The Creeper now when she’s right-pissed…

Castela pushed. She wanted this. She may not have known what it entailed, but there was little derailing her.
Sometimes the only thing you can do for someone is give them what they want.
