True story: My brother, eight years my senior, painted Guernica on our basement wall – 7′ high by however wide. For a decade, whenever I played the piano, I would look up and see that bull and screaming head and severed limbs. I wanted to have the wall excavated and mounted, but the house was destroyed in hurricane Irene and was plowed under to make a McMansion.
A friend of mine who is a Pharmacist, would tell you there is NO Such Thing as a “Side Effect” [only EFFECTS they don’t wish to Emphasize in the Advertising, and are required to rattle off, Rapidly. in the Legal Disclaimer. 8D
Delayed reaction of Paras to the covid-19 vaccination? In any event I’m pretty sure they didn’t agree to that. Getting back to basics is fine, but not getting back to basic art forms. Perhaps one of them was thinking of Picasso and his works at that moment. And where did the one on the right get that pointy thingy? Is she trying to end it all? In any event Paul does it again! Who among us even remotely saw this coming? Or did Paul’s child sneak one in via the last 2 frames?
Picasso wasn’t there. It was in response to the aerial bombardment and destruction of Guernica, by German planes backing the Nationalists, and is considered among the first terror bombings.
Picasso painted “Guernica” in response to word of the bombing. It is often considered his masterpiece.

Anyway, good choice, Paul!
You could say they’re having a “Picasso” moment . . .
… and Ninja’d by 1 hour 32 minutes
My cousin told me about this.
Would this be considered a consequence, side effect, a result, or all of the above?
I’d call it a segue.

Well yeah. That’s why they are called side effects: they’re effects that happen aside and along with those you were taking the drug for.
Ye GODS, and Leetle Feeshes! SYD-BRAHE Nothing! They’ve Been Picasso-ed!!
Someone’s already made the ‘Guernica’ reference, so I’ll serve some Cake and point out the short-skirt-looooong-jacket combo!
Makes me wonder if her preferred red tape cutting implement is a machete or something else.
“Tachyon nullifier” just sounds like a really bad idea.
I wonder if he’s the minotaur we saw in the library all those years ago when Katherine and Atsali met…just all grown up…
I’m wondering if he’s the minotaur who was selling lemonade.
One’s been at the Poseidon Resort pool, too.
Thought the first appearance, he had a pretty good mother.
Either way, at least he’s not a minotaur, too late. He’d miss the show otherwise.
That escalated quickly.
The Picasso Effect! Oh, no!
Well… that looked unpleasant.
Not just in any position, in a super position, it would seem.

It could have been very much worse… perhaps an alternative worldline by Hieronymus Bosch.
Becoming part of Visio Tondali would probably have been uncomfortable.
So, what did Picasso actually witness in Guernica, in 1937?

It’s the Picasso effect; this occurs when there’s not enough MONET to cover operation costs!
HOLY $&@%!!! They’ve gone Picasso!
So that’s what happens when Paul draws with his left hand?
