Don’t read those comics, but have still seen enough to recognize that panel 😀

Ah, but this time the blonde kid is tackling the teddy-bear (or equivalent). A fun role reversal.

The more I look at it though, this actually looks more like an act of violence than anything playful.

I’m hoping Atsali flares her wings at the last second and doesn’t crush Nadette’s spine.

The question is, how much mass is Atsali packing? Is she light and birdlike, being a siren? Or does she have the mass you’d expect of a human in her natural size, which is what, eight feet?

Just remember: Nads is a were-bear, which means there is a good possibility that she could easily lift Sali in her full human form

Oh, and siren’s aren’t birdlike, they are the evil mermaids, you are thinking of her harpy side 😛

Nothing about her is a harpy, in the Wapsi Universe siren’s are birds.

Atsali doesn’t have a harpy side. She’s half siren and half succubus.

21st century louis darling w/ a bent toward kolchak: the night stalker… your work seems like that. I like it.

In Greek myth, sirens were winged creatures. Atsali is that kind of siren.

Years ago, I started reading a comic about Monica and her friends. I stopped after Monica and her friends disappeared. Doesn’t look like they’ve come back.

It’s sad. I really enjoyed that other Wapsi Square. I wish there was someplace I could read it.

That’s funny. Years ago, I started reading a comic about Monica and her friends. I wondered how the story would progress after they finished with their amazing adventure. I am happy with how well the author was able to shift the main arc of the story to new and excitingly different characters while still maintaining the general feeling of the world I enjoyed following Monica in.

        Same here
It would have been easy to just end the whole thing after the trip to Ireland (wait, did they ever go? and what about the sub? was that ever solved or did they just ignore it after Bud blew it up), plenty of other webics have had ‘natural endings’, but Mr Taylor came up with a way to continue going forward and keep it fresh
And it’s not like Monica and co are gone completely, it’s just they are not the primary focus anymore

If I had a girlfriend that’s definitely how I’d like her to let me know she’s feeling frisky. Glomp and all, but I’m weird and a xenophile.
