The “bimbo with the huge boobs” in this case being a supernatural creature herself, not to mention being an idol of the person who is making this happen, might make a difference to the scenario.
I feel like Astali’s final line was unnecessary, like explaining the joke makes it less funny. It would have suited better to put that line as the poster’s/author’s commentary. Then you have a line drawn for the few people not aware of that particular horror movie trope, but don’t have Astali explaining her own lines.
Getting grouchy might just be a saving grace here. Combine it with Genre Savvy, and she might just make it through relatively unscathed.
At least she’s not the black guy in a horror movie…
