    I was wrong yesterday.

Atsali has been definitively superseded for the title of Miss Clueless Gryphon High 2017

No you didn’t break up, silly girl. You’ve just hit a rough patch. Devyn said she’d come to you. Believe her.

This is where I feel sorry of Devyn. She can’t scream or berate Abbie or blow off steam the usual way. Reality could become a quaint idea if she’s not careful. And she’s at the age where feelings are very intense.

This is a comment section. People write up short blurbs to summarize their reactions to the day’s comic and publish them here, so that other who have read the same day’s comic can read those blurbs and respond in kind.

      Hope this helps!

And Devyn need to get over her own shit if she has any hope of actually not being seen as a dick. You can’t tell someone they did something wrong and then walk away from it like you have a stick up your ass. Abbie might be guilty of finding someone hot and sexually appealing (still trying to figure out how that is a bad thing), but she doesn’t deserve to be treated like she is now because of it.

I agree that this will need to be discussed, but I know that when I am angry it sometimes takes me some time before I can calmly discuss the source of my anger. In that case, the best move is often to explain why I’m leaving the area and then come back to the subject when the emotional content is less immediate.

Then don’t bring it up until you can have a discussion about it. Otherwise you look like an asshole, just like Devyn does. The best move is to just leave and not leave someone wonder why you are pissed off.

In all my experience, emotion does not always cater to logical reaction. Quite rarely, actually. I think she tried to discuss it rationally, but Abbie’s reactions just piqued her ire further. Time to calm down, and come back at it later.

Is Boz a new character? I don’t think I’ve seen him before.

I don’t think it’s so much that Devyn is pissed because they found the sub hot. I think she’s pissed because they (meaning the girls in class) were objectifying the sub, and no one should be treated like that. It would be the same with Atsali and the whole “eyes up here dude”.

You mean in the same way that Nadette treats Atsali? Longing looks and such?

If a dude pulled that whole pencil drop so you can check out their ass thing, he’d be rightly called out for being a creepy douche.

It’s slightly different when the person staring is your significant other, and you have given them explicit permission to do so.

Devyn doesn’t explain herself, she educates others (by transporting them to terrifying hellscapes). No worries Abbie, your friend just has some more growing up to do

OK, I’ve known both the “clue equals none” type kid and the moral crusader in school. I’ve never seen what happens when the two of them collide, but I bet it’s about like this. Devyn would be the student in college hanging posters saying “No means no!” all over the campus and leading several protests while Abbie hangs out at the fraternity parties. Nothing wrong with either, just different motivations. Well done!
