Yes reinforcing negative behaviour is bad. But Rossilyn also at some point has to be able to defend her space before she gets boxed into a corner. That means she has to make the badger a part of herself (just not as extrmee) so she can say “no” when she want to say “no”. If she can figure out that last part, I’d appreciate knowing how. It is not easy.
I’ve fallen in love with Asian Rock, female bands in particular. My favorites include: Band Maid, Nemophila, Lonesome Blue, Rina Sawayama and Rolling Quartz. On this side of the Pacific, The Warning, Plush, Ruida Rosa, and I think I’ll stop there. Enjoy.
Did she in fact sneeze? or are we observing an assumption of sneezing because of a response usually partnered to a sneeze. Without our ability to observe the sneeze, we are making hypothetical assumptions. In fact, the shown response could also have been in response to any number of other acts or questions. I suggest this borders on the Schrödinger’s Sneeze Theory. Perhaps sneezing and not sneezing are happening. If this is the case, then perhaps an unknown and unobserved cat is nearby and it is that which sneezed.
This is one of those instances where the pronunciation of a single letter can make for a great deal of amusement.

I’m split over whether she totally knows, or is completely unaware.
I’ve got a feeling that she heard that, and that her “sneeze” was a snort of disbelief. Otherwise, why would Paul have shown us that scene?
Who knows how far and widely her senses now reach, after several more years of growing into her role as The Blackthorn.
(Calling it a Chekhov’s Cough isn’t strictly correct, but the alliteration appeals.)
Isn’t it Japanese belief that you sneeze when someone is talking about you? Like the Western belief in your ears burning?
