Well she’s a demon after all, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she would change appearance to suit the mission. And currently she isn’t on any “official” mission, this is all private time for her, so she’s probably reverted to her natural look.
And it seems apart from Castela only a select few with very special abilities are able to see her right now. It seems she thinks that Castela talking to Timmy might be a good thing, and that having a demon aunt hanging around might make for an entirely different conversation.
Timmy is a person she can probably trust and talk to. They have a history, but she had already “stepped out of the way” so he could be with Scarlet without guilt… so, the usual “elephant in the corner” in frank guy/gal conversations has already been dealt with.
Aunt-by-association, I’d guess. Atsali and Castela both consider Monica to be an honorary/adoptive aunt, and Doubt is Monica’s most prominent demon, so…

Of course we’re not supposed to objectify* folks in the new enlighten age, but still, am I too naive to want folks to have fun and not be harmful to each other?
PS- Any time I’ve ever, I mean _ever_ acted out, stupidly commented on, was a creepy chauvinist, etc, etc: ‘they’ were never ‘objects’ to me. T’was people the whole time. Vive la Difference…

From following the line of his eyes, it’s pretty apparent that he’s looking out at the actual view, and not looking at either of them.
(And certainly not looking at Doubt, since he asks Castela “who are you talking to?”)
