DD is now the average breast size in the US…
I don’t know if that is a case of Mean vs Median though (the reason we talk about median house price is that a few multi-million dollar homes can unreasonably skew the mean house price, it is possible that JJ or whatever size bras could skew the average bra size).
Not so much these days, and not in North America. We have fairly high-fat diets and an abundance of available food.
I was hearing on the radio that according to a recent study, the current crop of Japanese teenage girls are buying bras twice the size of their mother’s now (on average). There’s been a lot of US-based fast-food chains opened up there in the last 50 years, and a slight but noticeable shift towards a more western-style diet at home too. I suspect that’s the main reason. Traditionally, red meat was a luxury food, and fish has long been the staple protein source in Japan, followed distantly by chicken (as in how often a week you ate it).
She may not know her, but she’s willing to understand her and give her the benefit of the doubt.
Having a BIG DD bustline since I was 11, I can appreciate what Monica feels; ‘don’t judge the book by the cover’

If that’s a glass of Guinness Monica’s holding in panel 3, I’m in love.
I find this fairly hilarious, since F and FF cups aren’t too terribly uncommon. 😀
