I think it’s like anything else,.. knowledge and exposure to the “more” of life tends to have a monumental impact on your worldviews. Exposure widens the horizons. Like a kid from a small town going to a large college and getting to meet and talk to people from other countries/backgrounds/lifestyles. I think the families we’re privy to here have some SERIOUSLY wide horizons. When a holy host of mythological creatures, magic, supernatural forces etc.. mix it up, I’m guessing a little something like being gay or bi would be pretty mundane. Plus they’re written as “Good and understanding” people. The prime movers for such people being “Are you in love, is he/she a good person?, do they love you and treat your right?, are you happy?” etc..
Atsali’s Mom isn’t thrilled with Nadette as a girlfriend from a previous arc, just wondering what Nadettes parents think and if both would suggest the girls not see each other until after they graduate from college.
Read the arc where Nadette disguised herself as Atsali’s body suit and read the comments Kat made to both of them and later to Atsali. The tone of disapproval leads me to believe Kat is not a happy camper here.
And Grandma Lily was upset at Nadette “copping a feel” which carries an implied illicit component. Her concern was less about the two being in a relationship than her granddaughter being used for sexual gratification without consent. Big difference.
