Exactly. Today’s strip is kind of explaining how that resulted in Jin getting a set of demons of her own. They’re clones of Monica’s set (with new appearances to suit their roles as Jin’s personal demons). Apparently they’re not entirely severed from Monica though. They still count as the same demons, in some sense.
And when doubt came back to monica, she took parts of jin’s experiences back with her. I do have to wonder why Jin let it happen, though, unless it was one of the anomalies that hadn’t happened before.
She’s probably had a lot of discussions with her own demons as well as with Tina that we never saw, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Phix handed her some books on the subject.

The wings are very striking. They do sort of visually back the suggestion that Tina is a guardian angel for M.

No, we actually saw this event in comic. Originally, as a clay golem, Jin didn’t HAVE any demons (at least not after her death).
