“What’s the worst that could happen?”

    Uh oh.

The only thing i can think of that would be worse to say would be “It’s okay – nothing could possibly go wrong.”

A central tenet of life: If you don’t want to know the answer, don’t ask the question.

Something tells me Jin really wants to know the answer.

If Jin’s hair is any indication, I guess we’re looking at a previous failed attempt right now.

BTW, what did “I Won’t Let Them” end up going for on the ebay auction? I wasn’t bidding myself since it looked like it was going to go right through the roof, so I couldn’t see the final sales prices once the bidding ended.

What keeps worrying me is the link to that comic from 2001.

And who’s the “she” that Bud is referring to?

“And who’s the “she” that Bud is referring to?”

I am so tempted to make a ‘your mom’ joke here.

Hm. Maybe Bud is trying to get Monica so angry, confused and frustrated that her demons actually manifest – only to be sucked into the Calendar Machine to sabotage it from the inside?

…or maybe just get so pissed at the whole scene that she just takes a couple chunks outta the thing with that Big Honkin’ Pistol (TM), making it grind to a halt instead of re-setting.

    Just a thought.

I’m torn between wanting to see how this goes (and getting a bad feeling but feeling like you wouldn’t have it end in total disaster) and being excited about having it resolved so we can get back to the other plot lines that have had to be pushed aside while this takes prominence. We haven’t seen Katherine in a while and Owen, Lakshmi, Amanda, Jacqui, or Luci in ages.

Also, is there a way to make the tiny “Previous” and “Next” button above the comics more visible (maybe have that text in a mouse over), so folks know that if they miss a few days they don’t have to scroll down past the missed comics in order to get back to where we left off? I just discovered them today and wish I’d noticed them earlier.

    Thanks.

You what would be awesomely handy? If you could create a login, and a single button would take you back to the last page you had read. It wouldn’t need a password or anything, just your nic or email address, or even just a cookie.

That’s what the “tag page” does at the bottom of the comic.

Well, now; that’s just down-right useful, that is. That is, once I permitted Javascript to run on this page. Until then, the option didn’t even show up. Thanks! I wonder how many other webcomics I follow have the same (unseen by me) option.

I assumed it was Jin’s mom since Jin thinks Monica is her vessel?

Wow, I hadn’t thought of that till you said it. That makes lots of sense. the other option(s ) being her demon representations of her “Motivation”.
