This was the first strip I read in WapsiSquare. Been reading – and enjoying – since then. The fantasy is right up there with Zelazny and the other greats.

Aaaaannnddd…. she just walked into a biker bar looking like a cheap hooker. This will probably not end well.

She’s wearing a very expensive dress. That should up her price a bit. 😉

On the upside, there’s very good odds that a number of these guys are experienced at motor vehicle repair, or even currently employed as mechanics. Now if only she could motivate them… hmm…

lol you are mistaken, but that’s the whole point of this comic, not judging books by their covers. ~<3

Pick the right biker bar and it can be just about the safest place in town.

I learned that when I realized that one of the bars most people tended to avoid because of all the bikers actually was considered neutral ground by HA and Bandidos. It was one of the few places you could meet bikers from both camps and feel relatively certain it wouldn’t end badly. They didn’t really mix, but anyone even looking like they might feel like throwing a punch was thrown out and told to get the hell out of there.

The last thing they wanted was to give the police a reason to snoop around so they cracked down hard on anyone trying to peddle drugs or weapons or just trying to pick some pockets. Beer was cold, food was excellent, prices reasonable and the customers mostly fun people to be around. Now you had to remember that some of these people were really dangerous, but if you weren’t terminally stupid it was safe.
