I’m not familiar with Dragon’s Wall College. Does it have a good academic record or is it a “party school?” Did Atsali get a scholarship or is someone paying her way?
Whatever happened to the Flight Team? Was the whole point of it just to show us everyone hates Atsali and how she is completely oblivious to everything?
I’m like “Sheik”, G.I. Bill. But at least I didn’t owe anyone when I got my degree.
Then I paid for my kid’s BSs. (And looks like I’ll have to help with the grand kids. One’s already started at UT.)
When it comes to dragons, it’s perfectly acceptable to feel all of them.
er.. dealing with them, that is.
Never make a deal with a dragon. That’s how Shadowrun books get written.
Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with ketchup…
Almost sounds like a Yank version od Hogwarts.
Certainly a para-friendly (at least) school…
I thought it might be a Skyrim reference. That’s the only genre I could think of with “Dragon Walls”.
How long will it be before Atsali forgets Nadette? A week? Two?
She doesn’t forget people. She forgets events, sometimes manners, but not people.
Why would she forget Dette? o_O
It’s already established that sirens don’t experience attraction like everyone else and can walk away a lot easier.
Nervouscited?
With her connections, it’s not so surprising the college wanted her on board… Then again this is the kind of thing Atsali wouldn’t think of, is it?
I’ve NEVER been accepted into ANY University; so I can’t help ya, Sali…
I was, even without qualifying.
But that was under the old GI bill. Apparently they’d take anyone who could pony up.

The answer is “Yes” simply yes.
Be gentle with them…

Might be Dragon’s Wall has a flight team, and Atsali is getting a scholarship . . . my guess would be part athletic, part academic.
Reminds me of the first-string football player whose shameful secret was that he was on an academic scholarship . . .
Another plot point dropped off the cliff with a boulder tied to its leg.
Is this college a private school? Isn’t it a bit too soon for her to be graduating high school? o_O
This is her senior year.
