Cass is her own worst enemy when it comes to things like this. Her history shows that when is comes to going after or being in a romantic relationship with another person. she is Chernobyl. Asking Cass to “not be a “dumb butt” here is like asking someone to climb Everest in winter barehanded wearing only a speedo. It’s just not going to happen. Personally I hope and pray she can of learned from her past mistakes. And not self-destruct. Again. Cass could really use an “Other” We learn about our selves though sharing who we are. Being in a “romance” (even if they crash and burn at some point) Teaches us about us. I have learned more about my self reflecting on how I behaved in a relationships. (good or bad.) Then pretty much anything else I can think of.
Shawna might be Cass’es “other” Then again our 1st real love is rarely our only and lasting love. They are both very young, and learning about themselves. Who they are now is not who they will be in 10,20 or even 30 years. it’s very rare that the person you find 1st is the person you grow old and die with. people almost never find their soulmate right out of the gate the 1st time. That said. I truly hope Cass and Shawna can find each other and discover “young love” together. They both need an “other” right now. Even if things crash and burn later as they grow as people. Growing together would be awesome. But growing apart is very possible. as the say time will tell.
You have to remember, plants find it very hard to just pick up and move to a different state of existence. They can lean in a certain direction when the wind blows, but they don’t go where the wind blows. They tend to stay stuck in the mud. It takes a great deal to be able to move a plant that is rooted in one state of mind. Call it stubborn if you will, but “stubborn” is just others’ perspective. The same with Tauruses. Moving a well established plant is like moving a Taurus, which is like moving a house. It’s not done during commercials.
