for me when someone asks if they “can” ask me a question, i almost always answer with “i have an answer… maybe not the answer you want to HEAR, but i DO have an answer…” then i let them ask it and i answer whatever/however is needed. mostly i use this at work, so it’s related to the status of jobs we’re working on on various ships in the dry-dock, etc. so it’s not really life-shattering type of questions like here, but…

i concur, especially since Castella doesn’t end up in the orphanage in the same time-frame that Atsali does, because Atsali is much older than she is in this replay of events than when we see Pickle in the blanket arriving and Atsali and Thana calling for Mr. Meadows and saying that she was adorable… http://wapsisquare.com/comic/three/ i’m inclined to believe that Pickle WAS taken BACK to the Lab and not so much as experimented on, but at least studied intensively and possibly taught her basic human-form that she’s shown as having in the flashback with A and T.

we (the readers) still haven’t seen the whole data dump that’s going on in that Q-Room, especially since she now knows that SHE was THERE… now the next set of Pickles questions will be what REALLY happened to my “Parents”/ Scientists, and WHY did they “Throw me Away?” / Give her to the Orphanage? and then, who WAS that Fae she killed way back when… Secret Service for the Fae King? Seelie? UNSeelie?… and just like a Tootsie-pop, “The World May NEVER Know!”
Well, I was wondering when we would shift from coming-of-age stories back into adventuring mode… This might be the start of a new arc in that direction. Maybe we finally start to find out who the opponents were and what they thought they were doing… and whether that’s really as past tense as we might like… and whether it really is just humans or if there’s para involvement.

A little over a week ago, a friend recommended this comic to me. Little did I know upon opening the page that I would be sucked into a new obsession. I’ve caught up from the very beginning today, and I’m in love. This comic is great. So many fascinating para ideas, while still keeping the characters very relatable. I look forward to more!
