These two are good for each other.

Maybe Atsali can urge Nadette’s real desires out.

I think at the moment Nadette’s real desire is Atsali.

Reminds me of Tedd and Grace, with a chart courtesy of Mr. Verres.

Too true. But Grace might still be unsure.

Even the immortals regard Tedd and Grace as “practically married”.

At least that will keep Pandora wanting to protect her a bit.

Are those ever-so-slightly offkilter fabric stretch lines in panel 2, or did Atsali’s buttons get so strained they actually made noise???

That’s the fabric of space stretching. Labs across the globe will detect the gravity wave caused by this glomp, calculate that the source was terrestrial, and probably assume that a minor seismic event caused a false positive.

I need to attend this class. I had to put out a missing gear statement on my sarcasometer years ago!

Does ‘Dette need to compose her social interaction lessons in terms of sexy limericks?
    It worked for Atsali.

Nadette obviously wants to be just a housewife when she grow up. However being married to Atsali means she’ll have as quiet and peaceful a married life as Lois Lane.

At least she’d be less kidnapped than Lois, the DCU’s favorite hostage for the past 77 years and counting.

She’d be a lot harder to kidnap than Lois. She can turn into a large bear, after all. You’d have to be someone/thing bigger and meaner to pull it off.

Or she’s going to end up as a teacher. Schooling Atsali in the nuances of human communication is probably just as frustrating as being a school teacher, in any subject, though the rewards Atsali is likely to bestow on Nadette are way better…

        I love Nadette’s teacher pose.

Thanks so much for having one of your main characters be somewhere on the socially clueless aspie spectrum thing. I grew up like that and goddamned it was hard having to learn what most people could do intuitively. it’s a lot more second nature now, took a few decades of practice.

Not quite, they are still in school and that would be inappropriate
