She lacks tact. But in my experience, that’s not really and eight year olds area of expertise..
The time jump explains Castela’s appearance. She’s much better at maintaining her human look and older as well.
Pickle’s getting better at the “eyes”.
She has also gotten rid of her verbal tic since she started socializing with her friend.
She’s gotten older and her vocabulary and speech processors have caught up with her thoughts.
Both of my granddaughters had the same sort of thing at about the same age.;
