Interestingly, I do not hear any Fear in his voice. Their relationship is ….. complex.
Where do they have vending machines that have cans of coffee? I know they have them in Japan, and that’s where I initially thought the kids are, but where else would they have them?
I feel like this might part of why in the para world they don’t believe in ghosts. Stronger paras who feel they should know everything and sense everything could not believe that they just saw something like that. Then when others try to say the facts don’t line up he stronger para keeps insisting until everyone becomes unsure if they are remembering things correctly. Particularly when paras can just teleport from one spot to another easily.
The entity I am going to be calling a “ghost” did have Timothy’s character design with the difference that he was taller, Scarlet’s height. Maybe a family member?
Given that the room’s been closed up for 20 years and ghost’s apparent age is probably older than the Gang is now, we have to start the bidding at “uncle” with the remote possibility that the ghost is a WAY older brother and Timothy himself was a late in life “whoops” for his parents.
Just thought of something. Doesn’t Timothy pass out easily from some condition he has? We readers and apparently Scarlet thought ghosty-boy was Timothy. Perhaps his spirit leave his body when this happens?

If they started looking for the Holy Grail, I expect them to be guided by someone named Tim, Rodger, the Knights Who Say Ni, and encounter taunting Frenchmen.

Did anybody hear the story that neckties were invented by the romans? They made some tribe in germany – the people from ostfriesland – wear them so they could hang them right on the spot when they become annoying. The necktie also restrains the blood flow to the brain. Anybody who had to deal with a pencil pusher should have noticed that already.
