Oh, well at least Luci provided Shelly with an excuse for the long hair. Shelly doesn’t have to make one up on the spot now. XD

Hahaha!! This is another one for my “I-wish-I-could-animate” list.
I can just see it in my head. It’s even funnier in motion. Body suddenly jolts forward and *POOF* – LONG HAIR!!

You do it right and she pitches forward leaving a streamer of temporarily stationary hair behind.

Is it just me of is Shelly’s hair WAY longer than what laughingly passes for normal?

To me it looks like she sneezed so hard it all flopped over her face.
Reminds me of a girl back in H.S. she had long hair, but had the sides of her head shaved. when she split it down the middle it covered all. When she flopped it to one side or the other, a whole another look.

frame 2: sneeze, ALL her hair streams back…
frame 3: her body is forced back by the blast, so all her ‘hair-in-motion’ moves over her face…. :)

So … okay … does she think Shelly always wore her hair in an “updo” now? She would have to, otherwise she would wonder how it got so long from one week to the next. Still I have to wonder how she could mistake actual short hair for wearing her hair up all that time. It would seem to be an obvious difference.

Also, was it actually an updo this time as opposed to Shelly being able to change her hair length at will (and accidently)?

Sphinxes do sneeze. However, not many people know this, because humans who witness a sphinx sneeze tend not to survive. Being blown backwards off of a cliff, into a wall, etc. at high speed is hard on the bystanders…

Why wouldn’t they? based on the human side or the feline side, both of those species DO sneeze, therefore Sphinx’s should too.
and if you want to get a bit more technical, a sneeze is just the bodies way of getting rid of irritants in the nasal cavity, thus helping to prevent them from being breathed in and making the irritation worse… yeah i know it doesn’t always work as well as it could (should), but, with that as a basis for thought, i would think that all forms of air-breathing life could sneeze…

A loud sneeze like that is not without precedent. My Ma would do that, and sometimes it would be the only way any of us could find her in a crowd. Army Sister used to get annoyed at her for sneezing like that, but recently, she started to up in volume herself. Her two-year-old thinks it’s funny.
