um… neither of the two present here… only one person so far has been demonstrably able to do that… Pickle, While it’s been implied that Monica CAN, but we haven’t seen her do it…
that said, a better question to ask is: just who IS Cricket referring to as “Dummy” Atsali, or Nadette?
i don’t think so, this may have been the equivalent of going to gym class in the morning with classes in the afternoon, so this could still be during school hours… and if that IS the case, then yeah… why IS Cricket HERE instead of in a class?
I’m guessing that applies to both of ’em. I think Cricket is trying to lighten up the mood a bit by reminding them they both screwed up but all came out OK and they’re going too far with their pity party.
I, for one, am with Cricket on this one. Emotions is one thing, angsting over things that can no longer be changed is another – and Atsali especially tend towards doing that. They need to be told that ‘OK, you both screwed up – that’s what happens. Now, get over it and move on, instead of wallowing in mutual self-pity’ (is ‘mutual self-pity’ even a thing?)
Nope. Atsali had been sitting there in terror fear that she’d hurt, and maybe lost, the girl she loved. She needs to unwind. She needs to talk about it. Heavy scenes like that aren’t over in an instant, which is about how long it’s been since Nadette came out of the nurse’s office. This is the first thing Nadette’s had a chance to say, for God’s sake.
Mmh – that’s exactly WHY I think Cricket is doing it right. Atsali has indeed been working herself into an ‘OMG I have committed an unpardonable crime’ state of mind and needs to be brought back to earth – treating the whole thing as the paranormal equivalent of spilling a whole cup of coffee is a fine way of doing that.
The beauty of this is Cricket never says which of the two is the one the school needs to be on alert about. Personally my money is on both of them having screwed up.
First comment woo. Man they are NOT going to let her live that one down any time soon.
Cricket gotta remember who can kick her ass. Talk about a dummy.

I was gonna say “yes”…
Cricket’s a good asshole friend. LOL
Everyone needs at least one. 😉
Time to feed Cricket to Pickle again.
oh gawd… that pint sized asshole
Not. Helping.
Isn’t this after hours? Why is Cricket there?

Maybe the bell went of when nadette and astillia got outside the nurses office.
Don’t worry, all of the classrooms have a little chart on the wall by the door explaining the correct dummy procedure.
that’s a fae for you…

That wasn’t a pity party, that was people processing what had happened. If you’re uncomfortable with emotions, you’re in the wrong place.
SO! Most paranormals are female? With all that estrogen, no wonder the drama meter registers in the red most the time. PUT A MUZZLE ON IT, CRICKET!!!
I don’t think it’s that most paranormals are female. I think it’s that most of Paul’s characters are female.

Yup it is
Hence the term pity party.

I think you’re wrong.
Someone is about to meet a polar bear with a black eye.
What’s that lil’ loudmouthed squab goin’ on about? What’s all this dummy alert bullshit?
looks like i gotta squish a cricket….
I’ve really appreciated the early updates the last couple of days.
her black eye is gone already?!
